Quiver Tree Forest offered us a wonderful stay! Up early to catch early morning light on the quiver trees but did not get the orange sky as we wished. Our trek to the dunes was very early in the morning allowing us to arrive before daybreak to witness the sunrise change the colours of the sand dunes to magnificent shades of terra cotta against the blue sky! Behind the dunes we visited Dead Vlei where trees appear to be dead however remain alive because of the drought conditions.
