PHOTOGRAPHERS - GET READY TO SEE THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THESE COUNTRIES!
Cape Town - two full days to see the beauty and charm of Cape Town. Excursions can be arranged prior to arriving there.
Our journey starts in Cape Town where we head to the northern Cape and stay one night near Namaqualand, a place known for its natural floral displays. We continue north into Namibia where we will visit Quiver Tree Farm to photograph the amazing quiver trees in the golden light. Another intriguing photographic experience is both morning and afternoon in Ghost Town - Kolmanskop where the deserted homes are being covered over with sand which one day will be completely buried. Following Kolmaskop we are booked at Farm Kanaan which is located in a very remote area that provides photographic tours of the flora and fauna. Here at Farm Kanaan they have a cheetah conservation and aslo a research centre on the brown hyena. Sossusvlei Dunes - two nights there inside the gates in order to catch the best lighting on the dunes in the early morning.
We depart this area and travel northward along the western coast to Swakopmund where we stay for two nights. This is a town with a German influence along with the local natives of the Himba and Herero tribes who may be attending the local market on Mondesa Street in Swakopomund.
Heading north we arrive at Etosha National Park and stay one night at the western end in Okaukeujo where we enjoy private safaris on a private game reserve and photograph over a floodlit waterhole! We then travel through the park to the eastern end at Namutoni where we stay for two nights. Etosha National Park provides endless viewing of their native mammals and birds and we will be able to stop and photograph for as long as we wish.
Out stay here is at a luxurious game reserve known for its wonderful wildlife safaris both on private grounds and throughout Etosha.
After our stay in Namutoni we proceed north again to the Caprivi Strip also known for its wildlife and birds along the Kavongo River.
Finally we reach Botswana - an exciting place to photograph both on water and on land! Many bird species here whether on land or water, home to crocs, hippos, sable, lions, leopard and known for its enormous population of elephants!
This PHOTO TOUR has been planned to provide you with the optimal photographic opportunity in these three countries of South Africa, Namibia & Botswana.
